Club Clearview, 2803 Main St. (tel. 214/939-0077), is a stalwart of the Deep Ellum scene. Now connected to three other bars (Art Bar, Blind Lemon, and Red Complex), it offers an eclectic mix of dance-oriented and live bands -- everything from swing to techno to blues. Lizard Lounge, 2424 Swiss Ave. (tel. 214/826-4768), is the city's best dance club; trendy and slightly seedy, but resolutely sexy, it trades in percolating dance beats and a hot crowd. Sunday night is Goth Night. At Red Jacket, 3606 Lower Greenville Ave. (tel. 214/823-8333), DJs spin dizzying electronica, '70s funk and soul, and pump-it-up new wave tunes. For something out of the ordinary -- dancing to Tejano music -- check out Escapade 2001, 10707 Finnell St. (tel. 214/654-0545).
